ONGOING - MEAL TEAMS:
it's less like volunteering and more like relationship. Our ethos of service means being local, being in it for the long haul, and coming alongside others in a meaningful way. Some days that means organizing and mobilizing to engage our civic leaders and elected officials. Other days it looks like sharing some homemade bread with a stranger. On a regular basis, it will include providing the weekly meal to homeless LGBTQ youth through Montrose Grace Place.
It's our opportunity to contribute to a safe space and provide a sense of warmth and welcome. We're doing this every other month throughout the year. Want to help? We needs folks to make it financially possible, people to help cook, and some to serve. Maybe you can do all three, maybe you can do a part...it will take all of us to make it happen.
